Start by removing the strings, hardware and electronics of your guitar.

Next, lay out the laminated vinyl Axe Wrap® on a flat even surface and wipe clean with a soft lint free cloth. Place the blank guitar body over the Axe Wrap® and adjust to the desired position.

Using a sharp hobby or Xacto knife carefully cut around the guitar body leaving about 1/8th inch edge or bleed.

Once completeley cut remove and place over the guitar body and Using 2 pieces of masking tape, afix the Axe Wrap® in it's desired location to the bottom of the guitar body.

Approximately 1/4 to 1/3 the length of the Axe Wrap® lift the self adhesive vinyl from the backing and trim away the paper with scissors. Be careful not to cut into the vinyl. Lightly fix the vinyl to the guitar body. Adjust the position of the Axe Wrap® and gently press onto the body. Axe Wrap® is pressure sensitive so if you make a mistake you can lift it up and try again.

Remove the masking tape and repeat this process working down to the bottom of the guitar body.

Using a soft lint free cloth gently smooth out the Axe Wrap® onto the guitar body working from the inside out while carefully laying the edges down using light finger pressure.

Once the Axe Wrap® has been installed use a hobby or Xacto knife to trim out any necessary areas for hardware and electronics.

Re-attached electronics, hardware, neck and strings and your Axe Wrap® project is complete.
