The Fender® Telecaster was first introduced in 1951 as the "Fender® Broadcaster" however, someone else owned rights to the name and Fender renamed the guitar the "Telecaster" or "Tele" as it is affectionately known today. It was the first commercially marketed solid body electric guitar and is favored among many country artists. With a solid flat top, the Squier® Fender® Telecaster® guitar is perfect for branding.
